We had a crown of throns that we made out of black locust branches for the three crosses in the front yard of the church. We would put up the crown and a purple robe for Easter but when summer was over we brought in inside. Being the good youth kids we were, I distracted the Sunday School teacher one morning so the other guy in the class could slip it in her chair. Needless to say we got a new teacher come election.

Why do we, as followers of Christ, glorify things that were used to torture him? THIS JUST IN! Jesus's kidney stone he got after drinking too much wine in the desert!

lol - this is the type of thing my mother would buy. just to remind her of the sacrifice, not that there's anything wrong with that. its just an odd item.
