Who won the name a chapter in the SCL book contest?
Jul 21st by JonAfter more than 400 votes and some great possible chapter titles, I’m excited to name “Chuck Allen” the winner of the “Name a chapter in the Stuff Christians Like book” contest. (I don’t know why I put Chuck’s name in quotations, kind of makes it seem like it’s a pseudonym.)
His entry was:
“How to Cease Without Praying”
To fit the format of the book we’ll probably use the ing version and say, “Ceasing without praying” but either way, well played Chuck Allen. Expect your name to be credited with that great headline in the acknowledgments section of the book.
If you missed the contest, fear not. I think I might pitch a second book and try to create even more opportunities for fun stuff like this in it.

I didn't add up all the other points, but I know I start with 21+ because the preacher took the text from Ephesians 5:31,32: "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church," from which he preached a full-length gospel sermon.
Yes! #6, that's the one I voted for! Very cool. I thought it had the most SCL ring to it! Obviously I was not alone…
Congrats Chuck! I can't wait for the book to come out. I think I'm going to buy 100 and hand them out to my friends who are sick of hearing me say "So, have you been to this Stuff Christians Like site…"
