We hit $50,000! Zakk got some new stuff.

Is it a man bag?
Is it a murse?
Nope, it’s just another step toward hitting $60,000 and building two kindgartens in Vietnam.
We met our last micro goal of $3,000 which means Zakk, our Metrosexual Worship Leader, is rocking a new man bag and some product in his hair. And because artist Wes Molebash is brilliant, he even tightened Zakk’s jeans for this round.
We’ve got less than $3,000 until we hit our next micro goal.
We’ve got less than $10,000 until we’re finished with our entire goal.
We’ve got a lot of reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving.
I’m continually awed that we raised $50,000 in 16 days. I’ve already cued Europe’s “Final Countdown” as we march toward the final goal $60,000.

I haven't gotten a manicure yet, but i have gotten me some pedicures and I love them.

What do you think, A style of mocha or a simple latte? Maybe like my English teacher and a Latte with chocolate syrup? Maybe an oct-shot mocha breve? Or maybe an americano or macciatto(sp?). or some cray monster or red bull special? probably not, but definantly has to be a form of espresso tailored to him specifically. Probably a sixteen ounce one, though.
Love the hair! I'm not sure how I feel about his overly happy expression though. I think he should have an "I'm-too-cool" look on his face. Or maybe he should look like he's in pain, as though he's in the middle of some intense worship:

Zakk needs some Rob Bell glasses and pins on his Murse! Also, if he were going against the grain of his stereotype, he'd get a tattoo in Greek or Hebrew on the inside of his forearm

I'm wondering about the facial hair to go with the specs. Will it be the full Miami Vice "I never shave after Thursday to make sure I look awesome for Sunday" look or a simple flavour saver?

Interseting the human condition. When we raised the $30K in 18 hours I was pumped, and now that its taken waaay longer to get to $50K I find myself disappointed. Is that weird? Has anyone else felt that way?
Yes, initially. But I also kinda expected it. I think when we get to the second $60K, it will feel like even more of an achievement because it's been harder.
Plus it's fun to do it slow and see Zakk's changes bit by bit
Yes! his hair is now actually cool. It no longer looks like he forgot to take a shower for two days, but now only for one day. kinda. He actually looks like he cares about his hair, and takes care of it in kind.
Yeah, his hair totally rawks now. Sweet.
Niiiiiice. Zakk is looking pretty fly. The tight jeans are a big improvement. And look at that watch! Not quite as big as yours, Jon, but Zakk can dream! I agree, he definitely needs an inner-forearm tattoo. I gotta say though, his hair is looking a little Edward Cullen-esque…
I love that Zakk's smile keeps getting bigger. Perhaps eventually he'll crack a toothy grin and show off his brilliant, and almost blinding, white teeth?
