Latest Twitter: I go through seasons in my life where I really like the music of Sir Travis Tritt. Is there a name for that?

We made the newspaper!

Nov 12th by Jon

In today’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution there’s an article on page B5 about the adventure the Stuff Christians Like community is on to raise money for two kindergartens in Vietnam.

It was fun to see the story in the paper, but the best part was that in the very last line of the article, the author gives the glory of this experience to the one who deserves it, God.

Click here to donate toward the kindergartens.

Great story. And I love that mainstream media published an article about the glory of God — that doesn't happen every day!

Way to go, Jon, on this amazing fundraising campaign. As a person who works in fundraising myself, I am truly awed by the miracle of this!

P.S. Love Metrosexual Man…but love Serious Wednesdays even more — your best writing of the week!

Thanks Michelle –
I've got a couple of Serious Wednesday posts I'm working on right now and I'm looking forward to jumping back in with normal content on Monday. We'll continue dressing "Zakk" until the $60,000 is reached but there are a couple posts that I'm really looking forward to sharing next week once we jump back into the Stuff Christians Like conversation.

I wish AJC online was like Facebook in that I could "like" the article because I would be all over it!

I love how it says that blogger is your "alternative identity." It's like you're a superhero or something.

love your posts..just found you today through a friend on facebook…the first metro entry..but then I realized a Vietnam connection, and that got me even more pumped. We are hoping to open an orphanage in Vietnam in a bout a year or so! Great job. That is definitely a great place to sow seed. We go annually. We are in the B'ham area, so if you want to tag along with our team in June, you are more than welcome!
