I am in serious risk of losing my status as a Christian right now because I have not read “The Shack” yet. Honestly, almost everyone I talked to in the last two weeks has asked me about it. I spoke with my mom on Friday night and she recommended it. On Saturday morning we talked again and she asked if I had bought it yet. According to Eugene Peterson, “This book has the potential to do for our generation what John Bunyan’s ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ did for his.” And Michael W. Smith, who I wrote about in #8 said, “My wife and I laughed, cried and repented of our own lack of faith along the way.”
Wow, those are some strong words. So what do you think? Have you read the Shack? Is it good? Is it great? Post a comment and let us know.
