1. Meghan Coffee
Meghan Coffee is a really talented singer in Atlanta. She’s the kind of person that wears her brokenness and her hope on the same sleeve, which is rare and wonderful. Please check out her music. Last fall, I had the chance to write some videos for North Point Community Church and she was in one of them. Basically they emailed me her testimony and I edited it and shaped the flow of the words and and turned it into a story and framed it with a core idea of “my story starts with ___ and ends with ___.” Her testimony was real and beautiful to begin with so my part was pretty easy. Here is her story:

BooMama, who’s blog is great and funny and other words meaning, “fantastical” has something she calls her “Daily Linky Interwebby Awesomeness.” It’s a list of things she digs. And sometimes people ask me questions like, “What books are you reading?” or “If you could only post one breakdancing video from the television show, ‘So you think you can dance,’ which one would it be?” (OK, no one has asked that second question, but I wish someone would.)
So I am going to do something similar and post the Stuff Christians Like “Like List.” Note the double “like” instead of just one like. This is going to be a collection of all things not sucktacular. Which as you know, is the highest level of awesome there is. Expect books, music, articles etc. Folks also email me cool links and videos, so I’ll share those too. It won’t be daily but it will hopefully be cool. Or uncool. I forget which one is cool this weekend.
1. The Visual Edition of Philip Yancey’s book, “What’s so Amazing about Grace?”
A group of artists and visual designers transformed “What’s so Amazing about Grace” into a visual story that explodes on the page. The “like me” sections are stunning. Easily one of the most beautifully designed Christian books I have ever seen.
Check out the book, What’s so amazing about grace?
2. Jump Little Children – Cathedrals
They broke up, but this North Carolina band created one of my favorite songs before they did.
