Universal Pictures doesn’t know it, but I’m writing a sequel to “Newsies.” It’s going to be called “Newsies 2: Revenge of Crutchy.” And it’s going to star Zac Efron.
You doubt me, but I’ve already talked to a few studios about a Stuff Christians Like movie. And eventually my Newsies 2 idea is going to grow like Kudzu. (Regional vegetation reference. It’s about education. I believe that children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way.)
But even if Universal ignores my SCL movie idea, I at least know they know about you and me because they recently asked if they could sponsor this site. They’ve got a new movie, Charlie St. Cloud, which deals with life and death and regret. I told them, “Instead of using monies you give me to buy gold pants for myself can I buy an iPad to giveaway?” They said, “Please stop leaving us voice mails.”
OK, that didn’t exactly happen, but they did want to sponsor the site as a way to talk about the new Zac Efron movie, Charlie St. Cloud. (Trailer below.) I did decide to buy ya’ll an iPad and give it away. And it’s a Friday in the summer so I thought we should do something fun like this.
